I had such a fun time reading this…The mix of Vegas casinos, danger, and nonstop action made it impossible to put down. Felt like I was watching a movie play out in my head. Easily one of my favorites from the series.

Deuces Wild skillfully depicts a gritty Brooklyn gang fight in the 1950s, but it falters with cliches. Although its raw energy and period accuracy are brilliant, the story’s predictability and the inconsistent performances prevent it from reaching its full potential. gritted but not perfect.
